Keep, Roger  

Dr.Keep was one of the best professors I've had at cal poly. He is very clear with what he wants from you from the beginning of the course and is always willing to help. I would highly recommend taking this course

Dr. Keep is an awesome professor. From day one there was no doubt as to what he expected from you. The class was fun. Keep was always available when I had problems or questions, and he was always pleasant and willing to help. Really laid back guy, and actually funny sometimes.

Dr. Keep conveys the material in an easy to understand manner. its all lecture and scantron tests and a lab that is fun. He is also a genuinely nice person. Go ahead and take him

Keep's always got a smile and likes doing his job. His tests however don't reflect appon his lectures in the slightest. His lectures lull you to sleep, but hte labs are cool. When doing the burn test make sure you memorize what the plastics look like as much, if not more than how they burn. You'll get out of lab about two hours early daily and stop going the last few weeks.

Dr. Keep tries hard but his tests are pretty rough... He curves them quite a bit. Reading in the book helps to take them, but a lot is from lecture too. I didn't lewarn as much as I would have liked, but overall the class was fun and interesting.........

Dr. Keep's IT 341 class is the bomb. Its a GE requirement but yet its really easy. His tests are directly from the lecture and he gives you most of the answers to the questions by telling you that this will be a question on the test. The labs are easy and fun. His jokes are really old but at least he tries to be funny.

Dr Keep is an truly amazing teacher. His tests are not easy, studying and attending is a must, but they are very fair. He gives out hints as to what will be on the test. He is very knowledgeable and loves his work and students. He tells funny jokes and will just sit and talk with you any time. Even though this is his last year, if for some reason you get the chance to take a class or even just talk to him, do it. He is an awesome person and teacher. One of the best here.

Take this guy for Plastics as it fulfills your area F technology GE. He gives 40% A's no matter what. Just go to lecture and take good notes. Go to lab and have fun. The lecture material is kinda boring but his tests are pretty easy. This class is very easy and highly recommended. He only teaches during Winter quarter now since he's retired though.

Keep is one of the finest people I have ever meet. He truly enjoys teaching and it shows. The class is pretty easy because he can present the material in such a way that it is easy to remember. He takes a subject that would be boring to most adn teaches it with such enthusiasm that it turns out to be pretty intersting. The tests are very straight forward and labs are quite easy and fun. It's like doing crafts, but you learn at the same time! There is no book so all you have to do for tests is memorize your notes and you will do fine. He is retired and only teaches one quarter per year so if you have the opportunity take this class, you won't regret it!

Dr. Keep is an absolute joy and is simply precious!! He was so wonderful in class and I actually wanted to go just because of him. Someone already said this, but he takes what could be a really boring topic and turns it into something amazing just by his teaching method. I absolutely LOVED him and I think he's retiring from teaching, but if not...TAKE HIM BEFORE HE DOES!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!

Dr Keep is an amazing teacher. His lectures were not boring and very strait foreward. There was no textbook for the class, so its very important to go everyday or trust someone to take good notes. The tests, all 4 of them, are strait from the notes and are not hard questions, very straitforeward. I really enjoyed this class. The lab was actually fun and it was really easy. If your looking for an easy area F thats really fun and learn a lot, choose this class with Dr Keep.
