Wow, I love Fritz. He is very funny and very understanding to students and what they are going threw. He is a little young to be teaching, but that is what makes him so great. His wisdom and equal understanding for students has no equal. His labs are usually very simple and you get to leave early if you finish early. Susi doesn't let her lab out early. If you have a choice of lab, pick THIS GUY! -IF66

I liked Fritz as a lab professor. He's a nice guy, and he's a grad student, so he can relate to how you work, and he tries to be really fair. He's definitely knowledgeable about plants too; he's a clear lecturer and he's really helpful when you have any questions. Sometimes it seemed like he spent a little bit too much time going over basic info that we were rushed to actually finish the hands-on stuff, but that wasn't often. This lab is generally pretty easy. The most difficult part is the weekly quiz that, as a whole, ends up being worth most of your grade. Make sure you understand what you're doing each week in the experiments, and take good notes and then study them before the next class, and you should be fine in the quizzes. He even sends out a study guide each week. The projects can be a hassle. Some are kind of long and complicated, but they're doable, and Fritz is a pretty easy grader (except for one of the assignments he was kind of harsh). Most involve observing plants and then doing some analysis. I ended up having good partners and groups in the assignments that needed those, so that made them easier too. Just make sure you do what the lab manual says, take notes, and ask questions, and this is an easy enough lab. Fritz is a good professor.
