brian really isnt a good teacher. you can tell he really knows the information, but really isnt very good at explaining it hes pretty condescending when he talks to students. both midterms and the final involved a questions which was ridiculously ambiguous and offered no explanation (e-field pendulum problem if any of you remember). upon having an epiphany and asking him to confirm the situation to the rest of the class because it wasnt explained enough, he replied with "no way, thats obvious." 3 students asking questions later, he explained to the class, followed by a resounding "OMG WTF WHY WASNT THAT SAID BEFORE!?" tl;dr: smart guy. not so good teacher. avoid if possible

A very good teacher. He was new when I took him so he didn't know the pacing. He went slow at the beginning of the quarter and had to rush at the end. He presents the materials very well and if you let him know what you are struggling with, he will bring in a problem that is very helpful. His test questions are modified example problems. His tests are very fair and straightforward.
