Received Credit. This class is just walking, you can walk at your own pace. Show up and warm up consists of doing 1 minute stretches. You go out for a good 40-50 minute walk, and comeback take to take a heart rate. You log your walk, in which I did it through an app called mapmyrun. This is a talking class, so be prepared for a lot of talking! I was the only guy in this class out of like 10 people. There are no earphones allowed while walking for safety purposes, and also so you can talk haha:)

Great teacher, fun class. I took her for basketball (so I'm probably a little bias) and had a blast. She presents material clearly, and you'll always know what she expects from you. She also is attentive to student difficulties. If many students are sick, she's very understanding and lightens the load to what's manageable. GREAT TEACHER!!!

Probably the most amazing professor ever! She expected everyone to come to class (which is reasonable), and if there were a good number of students sick, she would make the work load easier so that we could manage. I had her for basketball, so it was all around fun, while still learning the basics of how to teach a class. I took the class just for fun and it was well worth it. The final was so easy that I could have aced it without studying, but that's probably b/c I've played the sport for years. She grades fairly, and even if you've never played basketball in your life (there were a few in the class), you could probably still pull of an A. Anyway, she's pretty much an amazing teacher all around!

Took basketball class and it was really fun. A very fundamental class though, so we didn't play a lot of actual games, just drills mostly.

if you plan to take KINE 250 with kellie, expect to be running the mile, doing push ups, sit ups, and sit and reach - both at the beginning, and the end of the quarter. there are also three essays, a midterm, and a final. in all honesty, none of it is that bad - if you go to class, you'll do fine. my only big gripe about this class was that i took it about 4 weeks ago and still have yet to recieve ANYTHING back. i dont even know what i got on the midterm, let alone the essays or final. that is purely unacceptable (the tests were primarily scantron, mind you).

Kellie is really nice and helpful one on one, but for this class she was really unprepared. Granted she does not usually teach this class, she just didnt know how to deal with a large class size or all of the smart room equiptment. Other than that she was fairly easy. study for the tests a little bit ad know how to do the math stuff for reading labels and you will do fine. write good essays and you will get a good grade.

This class was incredibly disorganized. Dr. Hall does NOT follow the syllabus—in fact the syllabus is incorrect half the time! Class itself is a complete waste of time—Dr. Hall ends up going off on tangents during almost every lecture. Moreover, her emails are more confusing than clarifying—she can never give a clear, succinct response. Not to mention she never updates grades because she can’t figure out how to properly use the gradebook on Polylearn. I am 99% sure she miscalculated my overall grade for this quarter… With that being said, Dr. Hall is a kind, laid back, and accommodating professor AND she always lets class out early—her teaching style just didn’t suit me personally! In this class, your grade is made up of: a midterm (30%), final (40%), and written assignments (30%). The written assignments are simple and graded VERY leniently (I got full credit on all of the assignments). The midterm and final consisted of 70-80 multiple choice and true/false questions. 60-70 of the questions came directly from the power point slides and 10-15 questions were obscure facts from the textbook. It’s VERY easy to get a B in the class without touching the book as long as you review the power points slides. TIPS FOR GETTING A GOOD GRADE: make flashcards of ALL the information on the power point slides posted on Polylearn, allow yourself 2-3 days to study for the exams, you DO not need to go to every class—most days are a waste of time, and finally, skim the book and memorize the obscure facts (for example: “what percent of female coaches are currently in the USA?” or “on a playground how many inches deep does the padding need to be?”).

Dr Hall's a great teacher. The class wasn't really that hard, but make sure you take statistics before taking it because you need it for the activity/lab part of the class (which involved stuff like juggling and testing your reaction time... fun, interesting stuff). It's an interesting class especially if you're into sports. She incorporates a lot of discussion and stories into her lectures so you never feel bored at all. Good class and teacher!

Dr. Hall is easy to talk to and fun to have as a professor. Her lectures are never boring and she gives funny stories that relate to the content for you to understand easier. Lab is so fun and easy.. just make sure you always go to lab and lecture because that\'s the only way you will get sufficient notes for the midterm and final. She is an amazing teacher!!!

Dr. Hall is one of the worst professors I’ve ever had at poly. She rambles on and on in her lectures about things that have nothing to do with the class. This class is not difficult at all, but is such a waste of time. My only advice is kniwnthe theories really well, and watch YouTube videos about them, because they explain the concepts so much better than Dr. Hall does. It’s really a shame because motor learning and control is such an interesting discipline.

Professor Hall is a great teacher. At times her lecture can drag on and get lost in a random story, but she is very good about providing examples for the theories that she is discussing and making connections between the topics and real situations, There is a midterm and a final thats worth 40%, all of which are multiple choice, matching, fill in the blank, and short response. Reading the textbook is extremely helpful and make sure to review theories that she talked about for the tests. On her tests she also leaves a section at the end where you can explain something that you learned that wasn't addressed on the test for extra credit points so knowing the obscure material is useful.

Dr. Hall is the sweetest and most passionate teacher I have had yet. She has dedicated most of her life to motor learning and control. While the class is fairly difficult, she is super helpful if you visit her during office hours. There are very few assignments and she grades them easily as they are mainly meant for you to use as review. Her midterm was very straightforward as long as you were caught up with reading and studied for it. She even gave our class points back because she felt some questions weren't fair. Overall, she's super chill and has a ton of life stories she loves to share during class.

Dr. Hall is good teacher, that really has an interest in the material. Honestly, the only reason I took the class is because it's required, but other than that, it's somewhat boring. But she's great, and does a decent job on shedding light on a boring subject.
